S.H.I.EL.D. 2(SelfWorking Honestly Impromptu Effect: card Location in the Deck - Vol. 2) is the second part of a collection of new card magic effects, never before published, designed by me and characterized by the fact that they can be performed with extreme ease, requiring no technique or manipulation on the part of the magician, and that they are completely impromptu, performable even with a deck borrowed and shuffled by the audience.

In addition, both of these effects can be performed entirely in "contactless mode", so even at a distance (by videoconference on Zoom, for example): the magician after handing the deck of cards to the spectator will simply give him the instructions to follow and will not touch the cards again until the effect is over!

Magician-Fooler!: I am almost certain that you will be able to amaze not only lay audiences but also many illusionists with both, the effects described being based on little-known or otherwise well-hidden mathematical principles.

These are my 2 new card effects included here:

The Card Found by the Black Jack

A spectator freely shuffles a deck of cards and, holding it face down, begins to turn over the cards one by one and stack them on the table, until the magician utters a "Stop!"

At that point he will begin arranging the following in a new stack, until a new "Stop" by the illusionist, and he will then proceed to form a number of piles at the magician's discretion. After that he will shuffle the remaining cards together and cut the pack at any point, memorizing that card, then complete the cut and losing it, collecting together the cards from some piles of his choice, shuffling them together and placing them in a block on top of the one containing the memorized card.

Finally, the spectator will turn the 4 remaining piles of his choice face down on the table, picking up the cards at the top of each and placing them separately on the table, while all the others will also be shuffled together and placed underneath the other cards in the deck where the chosen card is.

Assuming that the values of all the Figures will equal 10, as in the famous card game of Black Jack, the magician will invite the spectator to uncover the 4 cards he had laid out on the table and add up the relative values of each. Having obtained that number, the spectator will begin counting the cards from the top of the deck, turning them over individually until he reaches the card that occupies that precise position and, to the general amazement, it will magically turn out to be the very card he has chosen!

Fishing a Card from the Bridge

A spectator is asked to shuffle at will and deal the entire deck of cards as if they were playing a game of Bridge, that is, dealing 13 cards to each of the 4 hypothetical players. When finished he will choose any card from one of the packs and lose it by randomly taking a few cards from each of the other three and overlapping them.

He will then group all the remaining cards together and begin turning them over one by one, stacking them on the table, until he stops on any one, which will be left on the table while the rest of the deck is reassembled. He will then resume turning and stacking the cards face up on a second pile, until this time it is the illusionist who stops him. Having added up the values of the two cards at the stops, the spectator will proceed to count from the top of the deck and, having turned over the card in that exact position, he will magically find in his hands the very card he chose.
